We love our studio and the worst thing I can say about it is that I am constantly, like I do at home, rearranging stuff, taking care of my plant babies and putzing about making it just a little better than before—but honestly, I do my best thinking when I am in the 'home zone.' It's super meditative (and we now all know, mediation is super food to the creative mind) for me to look around with quiet concentration, contemplate my stuff, gently move things around and find new homes for all the things.
Why? I don't know. I'm hoping there's some kind of study that can help me with this chronic condition. Anyone?
So the mantle needed a makeover. It was time. It had been as it were since we moved in early Spring and I was feeling the itch. My Partner/Husband/Art Director Dru suggested to make a video about it and yes. Of course. That's what we do after all. We make video.
So here is a meditation on our mantle and the surprise that surprised me with what I made (!) and how it all turned out. I didn't really plan this, so I like that it was a bit spontaneous! Enjoy.
